Have been teaching English to postgraduates at Graduate University of Chinese Academy of Sciences. Regarded teaching as an art, integrating theories of second language acquisition and applied linguistics into my classroom practice to the satisfaction of my students; Started such elective courses as Learning English Through movies, Three-Dimensional English Speaking, English for International Communication, designed the syllabi and textbooks and got very good response from my students; Chose test materials and designed test questions for General English Qualifying Test for Non-English Major Graduates and English Entrance Examination for Doctorate Candidates, Non-English Major Doctorate English Qualifying Examination every year; Accomplished the CAS-funded project titled Research on Visual, Audio and Oral English Teaching; Designed texts in such textbooks as Speed Reading Book One, Book Two by the Science Publisher; Sponsored by CAS, studied Linguistics at Birmingham University in 2005. Got acquainted with the latest developments in linguistics and the biggest corpus; Acquired an in-depth insight into the English language and the British culture.
