My name is Torsten JUELICH. Since my arrival in China in 2012, I have edited over 400 scientific manuscripts from research groups across China. Since 2015, I have been teaching the courses ‘Scientific Writing in English’ (Postgraduate Course) and ‘Science Reading in English’ (Undergraduate Course) at the University of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (UCAS), using innovative teaching tools such as Flipped classroom and Massive Open Online Courses (MOOC). In addition, our teaching team runs annual editing workshops for academic staff and postgraduate students of various CAS institutes.
